Your mental sanctuary privacy is our absolute priority. Because AI Journal: Diary & Mood Tracker is designed to be a safe space for your mind, we enforce a strict offline-first operational model.
All journal entries, emotional indicators (mood, anxiety, stress), and timestamps are stored exclusively in a secure SQLite database on your physical device. We do not use cloud database services or remote synchronization servers.
The language models (GGUF) analyze your writing completely on-device using local CPU compute. Your text inputs are never sent to external servers or APIs for processing.
We do not collect, monitor, track, or sell your journal content, mood data, or AI analysis. This information never leaves your device or gets shared with any third party, including advertisers.
This app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to support free access. AdMob may collect and process device or other IDs (such as your advertising ID), along with general device and app activity information, to serve and measure ads. This data is handled by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. AdMob never has access to your journal entries, mood scores, or AI analysis. You can manage ad personalization and tracking permissions in your device settings at any time.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
You retain complete control of your data. You can delete individual entries at any time, or perform a total system wipe using the "Wipe All Data" button in the settings. This instantly purges all databases from your device storage.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
